Youthkills - Time Is Now (Virtual Riot Remix)

Been a while, but some times when this much music comes out, I find it necessary to choose the tracks that are getting me most hyped... So out of Must Die! - Turquoise, Braken - To The Stars, and Virtual Riot's new remix of YouthKills - Time is Now... it was an obvious choice!

First off, go listen to the track whilst reading this :) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksCvjysHc-w

The amazing thing about this remix is that it shows just how versatile and powerful VR's music really is! it combines the styles so well... with such a beautiful intro allowing so much space for us to feel the original track, with such emphasis on the amazing vocals, and guitars, everything fits together as though the track was originally like this!

Personally I love the original track, so to hear VR put a spin on it which just makes me want to replay the song a million times to hear the impact of the beautiful yet growling drop!
The soundset in this track has such variation and I think that's something that's really hard to do as an electronic artist! you need to check this track out!

What makes this track so perfect to me as a listener is the fact that everything is structured so well, that even when listening whilst trying to do other things, you will still have to stop and fall for the immense power this track has when it hits! I feel in another world with this track on, Virtual Riot really has pulled it out the bag with this remix, and with the release of his solo album very recently aswell, His Back catalogue is becoming even bigger than expected...

P.S - Thanks for reading this far down, I've been trying to put alot more thought into my writing recently as you can probably tell I'm not a huge fan of the 'short blog' style and I love to actually review! anyway since you've read this far down, I make music in my spare time, if you could check it out, I'd be grateful <3
